The First Date
This is the first video I made for Video Art. It's my favorite one. technically it isn't the best, but conceptually it's the best.

These are the individual squares of my water color final. I made them in a weird order, 3, 6, 9, 8, 7, 4, 1, 2, 5. #3 is my favorite and #8 is my second favorite. Each square has my name in it, just for fun.
I used Micron Pens for the design and Teas for the color. The Post right before this one has all of them set up the way they are meant to be seen.

Water Color Final
This is my final for my Aqua Media class. Each square is 11x11 inches. Ink and Tea Stains. I'll be posting each individual square so you can see it in detail. I wanted it to be fuller though time constraints required me to leave spaces. My favorite is the top right square, and just like normal each square has my name.Monday, March 22, 2010
Paintings
The second painting came from the same still life, but our job was to abstract the still life and show the process of our painting.
I found that I really enjoy painting thick and I just explored that.
We did one more set of paintings based off these two paintings, which I will post once I take photographs of them.

Photoshop and Illustrator

Photoshop Final
These two pieces I did in for my final in my Digital Media Class. The first was made in only Photoshop and the second was made in both Photoshop and Illustrator. I also made one in only Illustrator. . . but that one is really really bad because I did not put enough effort in it at all. Any way I really like these two. The top image is from 2 dances I did for my sister's wedding party in our back yard. The second was a picture of me with one of my drawings in the background. The background drawing is already posted on here. The image of me was edited on Photoshop and the background on Illustrator. (Put together on illustrator)

Forgot about these!

These are all from Drawing II from Fall 2008. The first is a pumpkin drawing which I had a lot of fun doing, because "Pumpkins are my Jam" (My mantra for that drawing). The other three drawings are the last drawings we did for my Drawing II class, it was a start for abstractions. They are in the order that I drew them in. The last one is my favorite because I had an idea for the concept before I started drawing it.

Not the best use of color
I wish I kept the just black and white, or took pictures of them before I colored them. It's okay, lesson learned!
You know the drill, my name is in there somewhere!

Recent Stuff
These were done this past December. They are based off of a drawing I did in November which I will post when I have a picture of it. These were the beginning of my exploring this style of drawing. You can see how it's changed once I've posted the newer drawings.
The first drawing was something I made for an idea for an intaglio print and the ones after were just me experimenting.
If you look hard enough you can find my name in all of these drawings.

First Serious Painting
Previous to this painting I hadn't done any paintings that mattered so much to me. Painting people is so much harder than painting a still life, at least for me. I painted this in acrylic in the spring of 2008, It was based off of a picture of m boyfriend as a baby, I spent a really long time on the face. I spent a ridiculous amount of time on the hands, however that is the weakest part of this painting. I think at some point, I will go back and repaint the hands to make them look a lot better.

Baby Girl
I drew this drawing in the winter/spring of 2008. She is my Sister's Husband's Cousin's Daughter. (I know, very closely related to me)This is probably one of my most favorite drawings I've ever done. It's done in Prisma Color Pencils and Graphite. If anyone thinks that you cannot erase colored pencils, anyone with me while I drew this will tell you otherwise. The majority of this drawing was done at least twice before being erased and done again. I fell in love with this drawing in the process of drawing it, and I still get happy when I see this picture.

Charcoal Time

Both of these two drawings were done in the winter of 2007-2008 in charcoal. The top was a still life I set up in the kitchen at home (a problem for my parents because I refused to let them move it) and the bottom was a still life set up at school. I love my pumpkins, if I had to I could draw pumpkins all day long! Also I am really proud of the top left object in the second drawing,

Purple Elephant
Beach Brothers

These two images are of my cousins at the beach. The drawing on the top is in graphite and the image on the bottom is in Sharpie and Prisma Color Markers. Both were done over the summer of 2007. Yes they are a bit old, but they are definitely two of my favorites, especially because they can really tell it's images of them, and they were excited that I drew them.

Oldies but Goodies
Conte Crayon and Pastel Drawing of a Skeleton. All of these drawings were done in the end of winter and beginning of spring in 2006. Yep, super old. But I'm really proud of them. Seeing the later two make me really want to get some conte crayons and just go at it. The Torso drawing to this day is one of my favorite drawings I've ever done.
